Poplar (core)
The 2025 Atomic Bent 90 is a park-inspired, all-mountain freestyle ski that thrives on creativity, precision, and fast feet. It’s the narrowest in the Bent family but by no means the least capable—it’s a tool of choice for skiers who want to transition from rails to side hits to tight tree lines without blinking.
Built with a lightweight poplar wood core, the Bent 90 stays snappy and responsive without compromising on stability. HRZN Tech in the tip and tail adds surface area without extra width, which boosts float and reduces tip deflection—great for butters, presses, and navigating tracked-out snow. The camber underfoot provides enough grip for linking clean carves, while the early rise keeps the ski playful and quick to release.
Where the Bent 90 shines is in precision and flow. It’s a master of quick edge-to-edge transitions, ideal for park laps, moguls, and urban-inspired skiing. The swing weight is nearly nonexistent, which makes spinning and switch skiing feel effortless. At 90mm underfoot, it’s narrow enough for icy landings and firm groomers but still carries enough shape to dabble in off-piste zones when the conditions are right.
For 2025, Atomic didn’t make major changes to the construction or geometry—this is largely a graphic update—but that’s not a bad thing. The Bent 90 remains consistent, reliable, and true to its identity. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It slots in cleanly between the playful Bent 85 and the more versatile Bent 100, serving as the go-to for technical park skiers or all-mountain shredders with a freestyle streak.
Compared to skis like the Armada ARV 88 or the ON3P Magnus 90, the Bent 90 offers a slightly more directional feel with better carving chops and a lighter, more responsive feel underfoot. It’s not as buttery-soft as some of its peers, but that firmness gives it an edge (literally) in mixed terrain and firm snow.
If your day includes rail lines, jump laps, and a few high-speed groomer blasts on the way back to the lift, the 2025 Bent 90 has you covered. It’s nimble, confident, and always ready to play—whether you're hitting the park or just skiing the mountain like it's one big line.
